Colin and I recently visited Obidos, Portugal and I found so much vintage inspiration in the little village that sits inside the castle walls and is truly trapped in time. I especially loved the vibrant accent colors like yellow and blue carried throughout the village. Everything about the little homes is so very old-fashioned and authentic and feels as if you’ve traveled back in time. It’s truly one of the CUTEST places on the planet.

We stayed at the beautiful Casa d’ Obidos which is down the hill and a short walk from the castle. It was one of our favorite places to stay during our time in Portugal.

The sale became wildly popular and began attracting visitors from across the country and recognition in national magazines. Today The Farm Chicks Vintage & Handmade Fair fills the Spokane County Fairgrounds and features hundreds of creatively and carefully curated spaces packed with vintage and handmade goods. Many describe it as a bucket list event, magical, inspirational, and the best event of its kind in the USA. I describe it as the best weekend of the year!
