A nice element for the Easter table is place cards to set at each person’s seat, marking their spot at the table. Is it necessary? In most cases. no, but it sure adds another happy little touch to the table, and in this case, a bit of springtime whimsy with miniature floral bouquets adorning each card.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Place cards
  • Tissue paper, cut into small pieces
  • Small Filler Flowers, clipped into small sprigs
  • Cord, string, or embroidery, cut into short lengths
  • Low temperature glue gun

To make each tiny bouquet:

  1. Write each guest’s name on a place card, leaving space to attach a bouquet.
  2. Select a couple of the floral sprigs and gather into a bouquet.
  3. Wrap with tissue to resemble a purchased floral bouquet.
  4. Using the cord, wrap around the tissue paper on the bouquet and tie in place. Cut off any excess cord.
  5. Using the low temp glue gun, place a small amount of glue on the place card where you’d like the bouquet to be, and stick bouquet into place.

And you’re done!

IT'S ME, SERENA!

In 2002, I was dreaming of creating a fun and happy little event to sell my vintage and handmade goods. In 2002, I held my first event in my neighbor's barn along with a handful of friends. The sale became wildly popular and began attracting visitors from across the country and recognition in national magazines. Today The Farm Chicks Vintage & Handmade Fair fills the Spokane County Fairgrounds and features hundreds of creatively and carefully curated spaces packed with vintage and handmade goods. Many describe it as a bucket list event, magical, inspirational, and the best event of its kind in the USA. I describe it as the best weekend of the year!
