It's Salad Season!
There’s nothing better than going out to your garden and cutting your salad greens. Loose leaf lettuce is one of the easiest crops to grow for the home gardener. Don’t have a garden? A planter on your deck or patio is just fine. Lettuce will grow in full sun to partial shade and good moist soil. You can harvest the entire plant for a large salad or just pluck as many outer leaves as you need for a side salad. It’s quick, it’s easy and best of all, it's fresh!
Tip:
Sow seeds every two weeks for a constant supply throughout the summer.
