old dishes, new life
Often overlooked are the remaining pieces of the great old chip and dip sets. Originally, these sets came complete with a main bowl and the surrounding dishes all on a lazy susan-like base. Over the years, once one of the pieces was broken, the remaining set was relegated to the junk pile. We love collecting these little pieces of "junk" and use them regularly.
TIPS:
- These work perfectly for serving side dishes.
- Organize Taco Night in a snap with cheese in one, lettuce in another, and so on.
- Chip and dip for one? Add the chips to the dish and dip into a little bowl. Place together on top of a plate or tray and serve.
