Creative Mailings
We really love putting together packages for mailing, especially during the holiday season. With a little thought, you can turn any package into a gift in itself.
Filler:
Rather than using ordinary filler like styrofoam peanuts, consider some other options such as straw, vintage wrapping paper, old sheet music, individually wrapped candies, and fresh-clipped greenery such as cedar boughs.
Labels:
There's really no limit to what type of creative mailing labels you can create. We enjoy taking old objects such as old greeting cards and books and scanning the images into our computer. Using PhotoShop, we add in the addresses, carefully matching the font to the style of the label. The labels can then be printed onto label printer paper (such as Avery 8165) and affixed to the outside of your package.
