Chalkware
My fixation with chalkware began with a thrift store find of 12 great old childrens choir figures purchased for $1.99. They were placed in a bag and had rubbed against each other causing a lot of paint loss. To me, the paint loss wasn't a big issue and are a favorite collection to bring out for the holidays. ~Serena
What is Chalkware?
Chalkware isn't actually made from chalk. It is more similar to plaster and is easily chipped.
Find it:
Chalkware is readily found on auction sites like ebay but can also be found in thrift shops and at yard and estate sales.
